Cauplas originated in1982 by producing mixtures for third parties. After that, with a 2000 m2 long industrial plant, the company incorporated molding presses, injection and extrusion machines.
In 1994, a new plant of 9000 m2 was built in an area of 30.000 m2 long, which started its production in March, 1997, and it has been producing a continuous line of tubes and hoses for watering. And in 1998, this line of Spanish and Swiss origin was the most comprehensive one in this country. In this plant, quality standards are met in the whole process by statistical laser-monitored controls and through automatic sealing and cut technology.
Nowadays, it produces injected parts; knitted, coiled, plaited and/or watering tubes and hoses that may vary from low to medium pressure for the automotive, agricultural and food industries.
Since 1982 until 1998, this company has devoted 90% of its efforts to producing for automotive companies such as Fiat and Renault from Argentina and Brazil. From that moment onwards, this company relied on the replacement market; this now translates into the 70% of the company´s operations. This entailed a broadening of the client portfolio, thus the automotive companies now occupy only the 25% of the operations.
CAUPLAS Argentina is a leading company in the production of rubber hoses for the automotive market and the industry as a whole. It produces hoses for the radiator, heating, fuel, air, direction and break systems, among others. Our company has 12.000 m2 of building space in an area of 30.000 m2.
